How To Use Rotating Stories

Once you've established your news folder hierarchy and news articles, you may choose to use a rotating header page within your web site. The rotating header page does as its name implies, it rotates through at least two different news stories. The rotating stories feature is designed so that it can reside on the top of a page in the CMS, and the page will still have all editing capabilities as it originally did.

This allows any CMS user to edit the page without having to deal with HTML or other advanced coding. Editors schedule stories into these slots as part of Editions. On so many sites these days there is a box on the front page that rotates through the top stories. Like a slideshow, a rotating story fades to show which story is being featured.
